Paul was admitted as a Solicitor in 1980 and became an Accredited Specialist in Business Law in 1994. He has acted in a large number of construction matters, a range of significant commercial transactions (both at domestic and international level) and property development, intellectual property and technology matters. He acts for a number of major trading corporations in the range of legal issues which confront them including corporate governance, trade practices and intellectual property.
The matters Paul has advised on include:
- Construction contracts for large projects including data centres for the 4 major Australian banks and the Australian Stock Exchange, the Qantas campus redevelopment at Mascot, retail buildings for Aldi, Bunnings and Ikea, the new NRMA headquarters at Homebush Bay and fitouts for Samsung, Google, Austereo and Fox Sports
- Commercial and industrial property developments from site acquisition and development finance through to construction, commercial leasing and disposal
